To all our customers and friends,
I have made the difficult and emotional decision to close Haymarket and Haymarket Pet Co. on 4/30. This has been such a wonderful experience for me and I hope that this little shop has made even a small impact in your lives over the past four years.
As you can imagine, many things have changed for small businesses since COVID, and the complex economic challenges from the last few years are still being felt downtown and elsewhere. I sincerely hope you’ll continue to support the small businesses that you love (and the ones you haven’t discovered yet)! They need your support now more than ever, and putting your support behind small businesses really does impact your community in meaningful ways. We’ve tagged some of our neighbors in the 5th Street Arcades, please check them out!
I have loved every second of getting to know you (and your pets!) over the last four years, and I hope you all know how much your business and friendship has meant to me.
I’m not sure what the future holds for Haymarket, but I’ll be sure to keep you all updated on any and all future plans here!
In the meantime, I’m going to be posting sales on inventory and fixtures here as we get closer to closing. The sale this week will be 30% off all inventory! We’ll be here Tuesday-Saturday 11-5.
