To all of the friends of USArtQuest,
Today I went up and down the art material and paper aisles, in awe of what 31 years life looks like. I know that by next year things will look decidedly different, for I have finally decided to join the ranks of many of my peers and retire, joining my husband Dave, who retired nearly 15 years ago.

There's a pride in having developed and brought to the marketplace Perfect Paper Adhesive, Prills, Mica Tiles, Mica Flakes, Dicrofibers - and ‘curiosities’ of every description.

From the first two VHS videos to national TV and books, I have been privileged to have the most creative business and amazing life experiences you can imagine. I could not have done it without the relationships I have had all along the way. Thank you to every single person who has walked this journey with me.

For now, there’s a lot of inventory in our great big store - and of course, more than a little art paper! So, retiring from USArtQuest will be hard work. It will take a couple of months to make the countless decisions and plan the many in-store or online sales.

Watch for them to pop up on FB and through email. Please tell every single friend, share notices and emails and stock your creative shelves.

For years we have supported our local special needs community, providing them with a program called the “Alternative Art & Business Learning Environment”. (AABLE). It has been an integral - and frankly the most amazing part of my career. We are working to continue our 501C3 by gifting them a part of the business. We hope to have this community have the opportunity to continue manufacturing specific products, such as Prills and Mica Tiles, without missing a beat.

You will still see me around, teaching, sharing collage and painting techniques, and I have a few books that are itching to be written.
