A few people have asked why we tape off so many areas before washing a home.

The tape you see in these photos is there to protect electrical components, outlets, fixtures, and other sensitive areas. Taking a few extra minutes to properly protect a property helps prevent problems and gives our customers peace of mind.

You'll also notice small taped-off test areas. Before applying certain cleaning solutions to an entire surface, we perform test spots to make sure there won't be any unwanted reactions or discoloration. Every home is different, and we believe it's better to test first than assume.

Here's a few jobs we just recently did. In some of the pictures you're going to see some tire marks. That was concrete we cleaned at a church that they're getting ready to stripe the parking lot for parking spaces. The tire marks had been there so long that no matter what we did they wouldn't come out all the way. That's just a good example of why it's important when you get marks or staining on things to get it cleaned as soon as possible because the longer you let it go the harder it is to get off.
