Every year I brag about Grandma’s Goody Jar apples… and for good reason!
Last year was a little different. After jaw surgery, there was NO way I could tackle one of these beauties, so I had to sit the season out.
But I am VERY happy to report that I just had my FIRST Grandma’s Goody Jar apple in TWO YEARS—and it was every bit as AMAZING as I remembered!
I do have to slice it much thinner than I used to, but some things never change… it’s STILL going to take me about four days to eat the whole thing because these apples are absolutely HUGE!
And seriously… LOOK at how THICK those toppings are! They definitely don’t skimp on the good stuff.
After waiting two years, that first bite was pretty darn special. And completely worth the wait!

A little change of plans for today! Unfortunately, one of us has lost our voice, and it takes at least two of us to make Live with Lou happen — one to keep the store running and one to go LIVE!
So, Live with Lou is canceled TODAY ONLY. We’ll be back next Thursday at 5PM, ready for all the fun, great finds, and Lou!
