A quick update about our June 6 Collage Quilt Class:

After several cancellations, we've decided to cancel the class. While we're disappointed we won't be gathering together for this one, we're thankful for everyone who showed interest and for Rustine's willingness to share her creativity with our quilting community.

We have more fun projects, classes, and events in the works, and we can't wait to create with you soon! 🌸🧵

If you didn’t get to make it to Day 1 of the Faraway Kingdom Sew Along and are planning to cut your kit up at home before Day 2, pay special attention to the cutting instructions in regards to directional fabrics. Also, feel free to skip cutting the templates from the green castles fabric (see last photo). I ordered the fusible webbing. It should be here next week,, so that can we cut at the next meeting.
Feel free to come by if you have questions on how things need to be cut!

Also, if you want to join the Sew Along, it’s not too late! I do have 2 more kits available, and there’s time to get caught up before the 2nd session on June 20th. Just keep in mind, it didn take me just over 3 hours to get mine completely cut and labeled.

I don’t think I ever posted the pictures of the completed chicken quilt. This one already has a home and will be heading there shortly, but is definitely a pattern I’ll be repeating sometime in the future.
