That's what this customer could have been facing if their entire floor had to be replaced.

Remember the bathroom floor we showed you yesterday? That was just one small part of the problem. Once we started taking the LVP floor apart, we discovered a shocking number of installation and preparation mistakes:

🔹 Excessive and poor patching created high spots that allowed the floating floor to “rock” underfoot, contributing to broken locking systems.

🔹 A cabinet was fastened over the LVP, restricting the floor's ability to move as a floating floor.

🔹 Tight cuts at the walls and corners left little to no room for movement.

🔹 A toilet fl**ge was screwed through the LVP, effectively fastening the floating floor to the subfloor.

🔹 Poor subfloor preparation left us with additional problems to correct before the floor could be properly reassembled.

🔹 And several other installation issues we discovered along the way.

These weren't just little cosmetic imperfections. Together, they were contributing to a floor that was actually failing.

We carefully disassembled it, corrected the underlying problems, repaired what could be saved, and replaced only the components that had been damaged.

The flooring product matters. But proper preparation, proper installation, and attention to the details matter just as much.

A bargain installation can become a very expensive floor.

Fortunately, this customer called us before it was too late!

Many LVP floors claim to be pet-proof, kid-proof, life-proof and waterproof. Impressive—but can they withstand one wonderfully round internet raccoon conducting mysterious activities?
