Calling all cahmpions of local art!

Every mural, festival, and open mic starts with neighbors who believe in showing up for each other. Local art doesn't grow doesn't grow without local roots.

We're inviting businesses and community champions to become sponsors of CAN and help the Grassroots Gallery keep growing. Your support turns empty walls into gathering spaces and isolated creators into an active, celebrated thread in our local cultural fabric.

This is more than a donation. Are you ready to add yourname to it. Reach out and let's talk sponsorship!

Together we CAN!

This is what community looks like. 🧡

A kid meeting his first favorite artist. Neighbors filling the street end to end, browsing work made right here in the Bay Area.

The Clyde Artist Network (CAN) Festival has grown every year since 2021, and this year is the best one yet. Vendors from across the East Bay will be here with pottery, woodworking, photography, textiles, and everything handmade in between.

Save the date: October 17, 2026

October 17, at the Clyde Community Center. Our best festival yet in the "Weirdest Little Town in Contra Costa County," with more vendors, more artists, more of the neighbors who make this town what it is.

Every year this festival grows, and every year it grows because makers like you show up. Woodworkers, potters, painters, photographers, quilters, growers. The whole range of what Clyde's hands can build. Pick up a silk-screened tote, a CAN tee, or a hat while you're here; every purchase supports the mission.

Clyde Artist Network is a 501(c)(3) arts organization, and our deeper mission goes past one festival day: we're funding the purchase of the firehouse, bringing a third space to Clyde, a place for neighbors to gather that belongs to no one but the town itself.

Tag a maker who belongs here. Together, we CAN. See you October 17.

Meet Clyde, CA — the "Weirdest Little Town in CoCo County." 🏘️

In 1917, the U.S. Shipping Board built this town overnight for shipyard workers. Architect Bernard Maybeck laid out the cottages and hotel, and they named it after Scotland's River Clyde. 120 homes, a 176-room hotel, even a 17-lane bowling alley.

By 1944 the shipyard was gone, but Clyde was still standing just two miles from Port Chicago when a wartime explosion rocked the region. The wood-frame cottages felt it and held strong.

Today Clyde is still small (population 729), still standing, and still a little weird in the best way! Home to the Clyde Artist Network, a non-profit started in 2021 by local Clyde Artist Jason Steinberg during lockdown. One Arts & Crafts Festival in the Community Center parking lot has grown into a whole creative community of makers, artists, and neighbors.

Come celebrate CAN's 6th Anniversary Holiday Arts & Crafts Festival on October 17, 2026, 11am–3pm at the Clyde Community Center. 🎨
