Located in the small mountain community of Coalville, Utah, artist James (Jim) Simister has been creating high quality hand thrown and hand formed porcelain and stoneware pottery for over 30 years. Our business has expanded to include clay, raw materials and equipment for artists, schools, and anyone who enjoys creating pottery! We are often out on deliveries during normal business hours.

Hello everyone! We will be at Art in the Park in Elko Nevada this weekend. Please stop by and see us! Saturday, July 11th from 9-5 or Sunday, July 12th from 9-3.
This will probably be our last time at Art in the Park. We have also retired from our participation in the Christmas Bazaar. We have loved meeting so many great people over the years. Thank you for supporting our pottery business!
Jim has made a few dragon and piggy banks, so come check them out ☺️.
We will still have an occasional studio sale in Coalville, or you can stop in by appointment.

To all our friends in our pottery world, we share the very sad news that our daughter Kristy has passed away from metastatic breast cancer. We appreciate all those who supported our fundraising efforts last fall for Kristy, and all those who have offered support and love at this time.

Kristy was born on October 1st, 1979 and passed away on March 4th, 2026 at the age of 46
