Meet the Artist 🎨
Elaine McConkey has been creating her art creations since 1977. She started out doing oil paintings with her mother, who at the time owned and operated a local art gallery and Studio in Olympia, Washington. Elaines mother Joy Puckett hosted monthly art classes that included famous artists such as William "aka" Bill Alexander that had his own tv show on PBS. Bill Alexander was also a teacher of Bob Ross.
Other artist including, Dale Gehrman and Jim Parten along with many other well-known artists were guest teachers at Joy's Frames and Things in Olympia, Washington.
Elaine was fortunate to take advantage of all the classes offered at her mother's studio over the years and learn from the best.
Elaine has expanded her creativity to include, resin art, acrylic pour painting, sign making and yard art. She works out of her home workshop in Cocolalla, Idaho. There is no limit to her creativity.
