Myrtle Tyrtle Creation - Sewing and Craft Business Craft - mostly items made from fabric for babies and household use My mom taught me how to sew when I was around 11 years old. I grew up on a dairy farm in Iowa.

Sewing gave me something fun to do since most of the time there was work to be done. I am extremely fond of making Halloween costumes and baby items. I also love 4 patch quilting and using up scraps. I work full time so I use my sewing as stress relief. I also make items for charity whenever possible.

Today is the last free Saturday until October 3. Going to be busy time.

Cedar Rapids Downtown Farmers Market is cancelled. Up early and traveled to CR per our vendor agreement. Glad they decided to cancel because it is not safe to have tents set up in the wind tunnels downtown. Made a stop at Walmart for bananas and bird seed. Gas at Sam's so got something accomplished. Home sorting clothes to wash and going to rest before I work on more sewing and maybe lawn mowing if things dry out.
