A few reasons why your bouquet is a BIG deal to me:💐💐💐

1. Florals truly set the tone, color scheme and atmosphere level for a wedding day. That being said, your bridal bouquet specifically is a direct reflection of you, your taste and your eye for beauty, which is so important for me to convey beautifully! 🦋
2. Your bridal bouquet is what you get to grasp when your breath catches seeing your forever person as you walk down the aisle, during the teary first looks with loved ones AND for the exuberant joy as you walk back up the aisle MARRIED! I hear so much that being able to hold onto something in those moments was a comfort, and that is so special to me!🌸
3. For many brides, me bringing in their bridal bouquet while they’re getting ready is what makes it all hit them that they’re “getting married today”! Flowers bring emotions, awe and something special out of all of us that is buried in the design of our humanity. When a bride becomes emotional upon seeing her bouquet, it’s a direct response to Her Creator and His creation. As a florist, I want to steward that moment between a Heavenly Father and His daughter with utmost care.💌

I could write a novel here, but these are some of my favorite reasons that contribute to my bridal bouquet design approach!🥰

Sooo it’s been 3 years since I did an updated “meet the florist” post🫢… let’s fix that!! HI! 💌💐🦋 I’m Angelle, pursuer of Jesus, wife, golden girl mom, music lover, cook & florist!

I wanted these gorgeous photos by Averie | Texas + Destination Wedding Photographer to really feel like ME instead of a “professional version” of me. Joyful, funky and vintage inspired! I share my whole heart with my brides, become their friends, and I wanted to showcase that! You’ll see my record player (complete with a Patsy Cline record😉), some of my favorite dresses, green heels OFC, furniture from my living room and even photos of my great grandparents whose sacrifices carried me here. In one of them, my great grandparents Frank and Olive who gave up their lives/families in Ireland to move to America for more opportunities, are standing in front of a flower shop in Ireland. Now, their great granddaughter owns her own flower shop in America, because of their sacrifices! Thank you, God!

My husband, Wyatt, and I have been married for 4 years in November, and we have a golden retriever girl, Lady May, who is the ray of sunshine in our lives!✨

🎞️ You’ll catch me attending concerts every year and curating vintage inspired playlists for every holiday, which I share on my stories🤭. I love Ratatouille, Nancy Meyers movies and old flicks like How to Steal a Million, Breakfast at Tiffany’s & Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. I love to cook by lamp light with jazz on, because I’ve never been sad dancing in the kitchen! I read my Bible every night, and I cannot get enough of learning about God’s character, Jesus’ love for us and the Holy Spirit’s activity in our daily lives. I also love puzzles and birdwatching. Very much an old soul (which is the fancy way of saying grandma)!

My job is my DREAM!!! You’d think I’d be tired of it by now, but on quite the contrary, I’m MORE in love with it if that’s even possible! Flowers are so intricate, unique and have a way of capturing something God put inside all of us. To think of the infinite breeds/varieties/colors of flowers and ALSO that they are only a tiny fraction of God’s entire creation blows my mind! Thank you for being here, in awe with me! 💌Angelle

Fun fact: Emily is known to have gotten her bouquet painted on her nails for her wedding anniversary 🥹💐🫶🏻✨ I have brides that get their bouquets painted, pressed and even tattooed on them (shoutout my girl Sam!!)- not sure there is a higher compliment than that!!

Today marks 9 YEARS OF ANGELLE’S FLORAL!!!💐🥳✨ Photos by the INSANELY TALENTED Averie | Texas + Destination Wedding Photographer !!!

Jesus- it’s ALL Jesus. There were times I was failing, tempted to quit and give up my dream, but GOD. I in desperation cried out to Him 5 years ago and surrendered my business to Him. I asked Him to take it over, to own it, to have His way with it. Ever since that moment, not only has He blessed my business, but has also completely removed the burden of carrying it. In ways I used to thrash and toil to succeed or book clients, I now feel like I’m breezing through. At 24 years old I’ve been fully booked for 5 years, and I did not struggle to do so like I struggled in the first 4 years of not surrendering it to God. That’s not a brag, that’s me admitting someone else did the work for me. I don’t deserve His mercy, grace, or success for all the ways I’ve turned my back on God, but He gives me all those things and more anyway in His love for me. The praise for all the hard work being celebrated today? It should be His. I feel the same way about my life: without Jesus I would be wrestling against the world. I have the Holy Spirit inside of me that takes the burden off of me to live life just like it removes the toil in my business. The kindness, the peace, the care for my clients, the desire to serve more than to profit, the designs, giving away more free weddings than I even post about… I’m admitting Jesus did all the work for me on these things when He died on the cross for my sins. I’m admitting I ask God, the Creator of the flowers, to guide my hands as I create with them. I’m admitting the Holy Spirit is what drives my entire life. That’s why today is about His work and success in this business! He paid it all, He worked it all, He provided it all! So I can’t sit here and take credit when I have been so heavily carried here. If you want to know more about Jesus, please talk to me! I would love to share how His love heals. Nothing you’ve done is too bad or too far from Him to be reconciled in His love for you.

Today is a celebration of God’s glory and His stunning floral creation!!! Praise the Lord from whom all blessings flow!!! Isaiah 40:8!!!🌷🌼🪻🌾🌸🌿
