Our Blessings block of the month #2 is ready. Don’t forget to bring last month’s block with you to get this block kit for only $3. This little house represents home and family. Also this weekend is a Quilt Show and Tea at First United Methodist Church in Colleyville. It is May 2 from 10 to 2.

First block is ready for our new block of the month. Blessings will feature blocks that represent things we are grateful for. The first block is the Friendship star. I am doing random size blocks and all colors. Blocks are ready by the first Saturday of the month but you can pick up any time once they are ready. It is $5 to start and only $3 each month after as long as you bring your previous block, $5 if you don’t. Program runs April 2026 through March 2027.

We have a group of quilters that work on donation quilts for an organization , “I Can Still Shine”that helps women and children who are escaping abusive situations. We have several volunteers who do a variety of things like make tops, bind, donate fabric, quilt,etc. We are in particular need of anyone who could quilt even one. We have 7 here now ready and waiting to be quilted. Each one has a back and batting with it. Please come by or call if you would be willing to help or have questions. Thanks!

Your last block for our patriotic block of the month is ready for pick up. I apologize but I haven’t finished the quilt yet but hopefully very soon. At that time you will be able to get a finishing kit. I will post as soon as I get it done.
