I understand why a lot of my orders requests no roses and it makes me sad! Sometimes I’ll sneak some roses in anyway to hope to change their mind. Roses bought at grocery or fast selling places wilt within the first 2-3 days.

Roses love water. Roses that are tight buds will likely remain that way. When you’re shopping for cut flower roses look for the ones that are starting to open, or garden roses which will look like they have triple the petals. 🥰Gently peal off their guard petals. (When you order from me this process has already been well underway).

Fill the vase half way with water, no less. Remove all the leaves. Change the water every 2-3 days. You’ll have roses for a week or more 🥰

I truly need to remember to take pictures, I always have the template and never the finished piece 🤣. This one was a love gift for my boss for her birthday today. Remembering she loved peonies (not pictured), ranunculus - the healthy hydrated ones replacing the ones in here. It was really amazing to see what the difference of delicately treated flowers versus shipped were side by side!

And while I’ve been asked, I will not ship anything until I experiment and figure out what works, especially in these hot spring days.

If you think a cost for an arrangement is higher than you’d expect. It’s truly the hours and care that go into each stem and bloom to strengthen and protect them to display at their best and provide something that will last for minimally 5 days to 1-2 weeks 🥰
