Old Colorado City and local businesses are making Colorado Avenue a little more festive for the month of October! Scarecrow Days is happening now and you can vote for your favorite scarecrow!

Brandiā€™s idea to have a mid-century modern themed scarecrow lead to a search on Pinterest for ideas. Which brought us to an image of something that doesnā€™t seem to exist but did give us a good jumping off point. Some digging through the scrap wood pile and Nickā€™s imagination started to bring the vision to life! Before we knew it, Radcliffe Wainwright (and his bird buddy, Ezekiel) was here!

We hope you love him as much as we do! Go vote now at www.shopoldcoloradocity.com/events/scarecrow-days-1

When people started asking for workshops, we honestly werenā€™t sure what they might end up looking like. But since weā€™ve started hosting them, they are quickly becoming one of my favorite things that we do here! Watching peopleā€™s creative process. Seeing them come up with ideas that would have never been on my radar. Seeing them start to trust themselves and the process, and have fun with it!

So come hang out with us for a workshop! Try something new. And learn a few things along the way!
