Things that happened this spring. 🌾🐝
Between the flowers in my garden, the bees, and new projects in good company, it’s been a season of observing and connecting. Of drawing, designing, and enjoying the process.

A few days ago, my dear friend, colleague, and one of the most inspiring women I know, Electra Johnson Design, and I designed a landscape project featuring native plants right on site. By hand, with tracing paper, markers, and templates. It felt so good to put the computer aside and go back to pencil and paper for a while.

We are also collaborating on projects that will have a real impact on our community and nearby small towns.

There is something very special about working on projects that aim to improve the places we live in. But also about sharing the process with people you care about. Thinking through ideas together, sketching, and watching them take shape is still one of my favorite parts of the process.

Cosas que sucedieron esta primavera. 🌾🐝
Entre las flores de mi jardín, las abejas y nuevos proyectos en buena compañía, fue una temporada de observar y conectar. De dibujar, diseñar y disfrutar del proceso.

Hace unos días, junto a mi querida amiga y colega Electra Johnson Design, diseñamos un proyecto de paisajismo con plantas nativas, en el lugar. A mano, con calco, marcadores y plantillas. ¥Qué lindo volver al låpiz y papel por un rato!
También estamos colaborando en proyectos que van a tener un impacto real en nuestra comunidad y en pueblos vecinos.

Hay algo muy especial en trabajar en proyectos que buscan mejorar los lugares que habitamos. Pero también en compartir el proceso con gente que querés. Pensar juntas, dibujar ideas y ver cómo empiezan a tomar forma sigue siendo una de mis partes favoritas de este trabajo.

Natural Touch | A new fresh batch of market baskets has arrived in time for Spring.

Simple, light, and easy to carry, they are roomy enough for flowers, vegetables, and a couple of sourdough loaves — the kind you end up using for everything.

I love the natural finish and earthy patina.

These come from Chaco, northern Argentina, where Carmen weaves them by hand using palm and wild carandillo.

A weekend to remember

Pop-ups always lift my spirits. I love every opportunity to connect in person and share my world—my roots and my culture—with our community. Thank you to everyone who stopped by , asked questions, took the time to explore, and chose to take home something special.

On a weekend when Latin American culture was celebrated on one of the world’s biggest stages—a moment of joy, unity, creativity, and above all, love—I feel deeply grateful to be welcomed, supported, and seen.

I love design and I love crafts. I feel the same excitement walking into a gallery in the city as I do visiting a workshop in a small village.

In Turin, I stumbled on a gallery, got invited in, and suddenly found myself surrounded by design icons I had only seen in books—Fornasetti, Memphis, G*e Aulenti, Ettore Sottsass, G*etano Pesce, Gufram, Andy Warhol

Such a joy! The colors, the lines, the finishes. Where did playfulness go in today’s design? I left energized with a fresh dose of color and inspiration. Huge thank you to for the private tour and the lesson in design history.
