We will be at Phelan Gardens on September 12th, 9am - 2pm. Repotting service reservations have already been filled for the date, I’m just as surprised as you are! Please note: plants with pest problems will not be accepted for repotting in order to protect Phelan’s greenhouse and our own plants. We’ll have orchids for sale and I’m bringing my entire inventory. If there’s a plant you’ve had your eye and don’t want to leave it to chance, purchase it today online and let me know you’ll pick it up at Phelan Gardens. Today (Aug 31st) is the last day of our 20% off orchids sale! Order today to take advantage of this discount, schedule delivery when it works best for you!

My amazing partner has cleaned out the shop and today I hand in the keys. To say this has been an emotional roller coaster of a decision is an understatement. I loved having my own little shop to sell these amazing plants, and I am sad to leave that space behind. At the same time, this move to working from home will allow me more flexibility with funds to purchase more interesting plants and to be able to grow out a wider variety of plants including our African Violets, Streptocarpus, and Monte’s coleus, begonias, and more. Owning a small business has many challenges, but I am beyond thankful we have an amazing plant community here in Colorado Springs that supports small businesses like ours. We will be prepping for our next pop up at Phelan Gardens on September 12th where we will have a variety of orchids to shop from. Be sure to visit us to see them in person, but as always you can order online ahead of time and either pick up at the pop up event or have your plants delivered. Thank you for your support!

I’ve extended our delivery times for Wednesdays and Thursdays to accommodate those who are unable to receive a delivery earlier in the day. You can schedule your delivery in advance and choose your delivery time by clicking the “Edit” link during check out in the “How to get it” section. We just finished unpacking our latest shipment of specialty orchids and we are PACKED! We have a lot of oncidiums but we also have seasonally available Cycnoches and dendrobiums. These are all listed on our website under “Specialty Orchids.”

In celebration of our first shipment, now through the end of the month all specialty orchids are 20% off!

Remember we do FREE delivery in the Colorado Springs area, Fountain, and Woodland Park. If your address is outside our website’s automatic range please reach out to us, we may still be able to deliver.

An update that looks small but feels big! The next two weeks we will be moving everything out of the store front. We may be in and out of there but we are no longer doing pick ups or in store shopping. We have successfully moved all the orchids and lighted shelves we’ll need (for now) to our home. This week we’ve already had quite a bit of practice with our all delivery system and it’s working out quite well!

As you can see, we have a lot of grow out plants (out of bloom) and we’re already dwindling on our in bloom supply. But not to worry! New Phalaenopsis come in each week and even better news, our growing partners in Hawaii came out of the hurricane relatively unscathed and were even able to get a shipment out today. We’re expecting new specialty orchids to arrive on Friday!

I have been busy fulfilling email and call in orders, so I am behind on updating the website with available phalaenopsis. I’ll have that updated shortly and we should be running to our normal rhythm by next week. This week had some bumps but we didn’t close the online, corporate, or call in order business more than our normal weekend so I’m calling that a win!

And one final note, because we are not consistently at the shop anymore, please don’t leave your donated orchids or trade ins at the shop. We don’t always make it in each day and I would hate to have something happen to them if they’re left outside. Please contact us if you have trade ins via email, call, text, or message on any of our platforms and we can schedule a pick up from your home or other convenient location (work, office, etc). We still have the trade in program! Each older orchid you no longer want/need is 10% off a new, in bloom orchid. Have two plants? That’s 10% off two new plants. If you don’t need two new plants, we can keep track of your trade in credits for future purchasing. If you have trade ins and want to use your credit please let us know as we don’t have a way to automatically apply this credit via online orders, but we can apply them manually and either send a payment link or take a payment at delivery (cash, card, or check).
