Spent a FANTASTIC Saturday celebrating design with the American Society of Interior Designers Carolinas Chapter ASID Carolinas at the Excellence in Design Awards! I’m honored to have received two Excellence in Design Awards for The Spa Retreat & The Curated Culinary Gallery! 🌟

Having these projects recognized by my peers makes the awards especially meaningful, and I’m incredibly grateful to the clients who trusted the design process and allowed me to create spaces that were both beautiful and deeply personal to them.

I was also surprised and truly honored to receive a 2025–2026 Presidential Citation for my work as the ASID Midlands Design Community Co-Chair. Serving our design community, connecting with fellow professionals, and helping support our industry has been such a rewarding part of this year.

A beautiful night, wonderful people, and a reminder of how fortunate I am to do what I love. 😍 So thankful for my clients, colleagues, builders, trade partners, extremely talented crews, & EVERYONE who continues to support Kacey Myers Interior Design, LLC - ASID Allied Practitioner, NKBA Member!

Summer Highlights, Designer Edition ☀️

From beautiful new builds to full remodels, & a little of everything in between, my summer has been full of some of the very best in design- and, even better, the very best clients!

There have been countless selections, site visits, details, decisions, and exciting spaces taking shape behind the scenes. I’m so grateful for the trust my clients place in me to help bring their homes to life.

A little side note: I don’t always get the chance to document the day-to-day on social media. But trust me... I’m busy, creating, designing, and working on some really exciting projects, with really great teams of builders & trade partners! If it’s been a while, I’d love to chat, catch up, and share more about what I’ve been working on lately.

So - here’s to capping off a summer full of beautiful design, great collaborations, and projects I can’t wait to share more of! Stay tuned!

Uncovering some hidden gems in this Earlewood Bungalow! Hello firebox & super quaint wallpaper 💚

✨ From Closed-Off Closet to Custom Living Room Feature ✨

What was once a closet...then converted into a wet bar...has been completely reimagined as an open extension of the living room that adds both beauty and function.

We opened up the space and transformed it with custom natural hickory cabinetry, tons of concealed storage, built-in bookshelves, and glass accent cabinets perfect for displaying favorite pieces. Quartz countertops and a decorative accent tile backsplash add the finishing layers of texture and detail.

The result? A space that feels like it was always meant to be part of the room - warm, functional, and beautifully integrated. 🤎

Sometimes the best remodels aren’t about adding square footage… they’re about making the square footage you already have work harder and look better.

Warm, natural, and timeless = the ultimate trio

This stunning kitchen remodel paired custom alabaster cabinetry with natural hickory, creating the perfect balance of clean sophistication and organic warmth. The natural wood brings beautiful texture and character to the space, while the soft cabinetry keeps everything feeling light and inviting.

Finished with quartz countertops, woven seating, and a statement pendant, this kitchen feels polished without losing that relaxed, lived-in charm.

A fresh take on a classic white kitchen & proof that a little natural wood can completely transform a space.

I've always believed the best memories are made in the kitchen. ☀️✨
Designed for everything from casual summer brunches to backyard barbecues and evenings spent with friends, this kitchen & keeping room is all about bringing people together. The oversized island offers plenty of space for prepping, serving, and lingering over great conversations long after the meal is over.

Beautiful design isn't just about how a space looks, it's about how it helps you live, gather, and create memories with the people you love.

Here's to a summer filled with full tables, open doors, and unforgettable moments. 🌿🍋

Thank you to my amazing clients for trusting me with your new home. It is truly an honor to be part of our third project together! Your continued confidence in my work means more than I can express, and I'm so grateful for the opportunity to help bring your vision to life once again. Thank you for your loyalty, your friendship, and for allowing me to be part of your family's story.

Much thanks to the incredibly talented team with Capital Kitchen & Bath! You all truly make the magic come to life in the most beautiful ways. My drawings & planning would be nothing without your skills and craftsmanship!
