Chopp'd Boards and Blocks We are a small woodworking company in Missouri specializing in handmade wood products such as cutting and serving boards, turned wood utensils and bowls.

I've always enjoyed working with my hands, and in particular, working with wood. After building the fixtures for a new retail shop in Columbia, MO, I decided I wanted to keep the fun going. While I enjoy building new things, I really enjoy making something out of nothing. I've come to find that working with reclaimed wood gives me the satisfaction of building "something out of nothing" by taking p

allets, old wood scraps, and rough sawn lumber scraps and turning them into everyday home decor. I have spent a lot of time working in retail, and I firmly believe that customer service is the key to any business. It is my mission to create unique, interesting, and quality items from reclaimed wood while maintaining a high level of professionalism in customer service and satisfaction. Ever wonder how to keep your wood cookies/tree slices from cracking? I just cut this batch of Bradford Pear slices for ornaments, and I always throw them in the sawdust under the table saw. This way the sawdust slows drying, but doesn't allow mold growth. They dry fast and I rarely get cracked slices.
