I’ve spent 30 years serving Columbus, and I’ve learned one simple truth:
It’s not about the tool in your hand—it’s about the person you’re helping.
In 1999, I started my first business because I wanted ownership over my future. By 2002, I was running Magic Carpet. In 2015, I launched Magic Restoration to rebuild homes after water and fire damage.
Over time, Magic Restoration became the contractor investors trusted to turn distressed properties into safe, livable homes. I worked behind the scenes long enough to see how this industry really works—both the good and the bad.
In 2020, I decided it was time to invest in my own neighborhood—the Hilltop—where I was born and raised. Not as a slumlord. Not as a flipper chasing margins.
But as someone committed to rebuilding the community with pride.
That’s why I created 61:4 Property Buyer.
