Three furniture problems, one product!

From stripping old finishes to removing crayon marks and cleaning up my own overspray mistakes, acetone has saved me more than once! 😂

Always test first and use proper safety precautions. Acetone can damage certain finishes and surfaces.

Before you paint an old cedar chest, see what’s hiding underneath! 👀 The last time I shared this one, so many people said it looked like a coffin! 💀😂 But I saw something worth saving. 🤎

This one was hard for me! 🫠
I had already prepped this beautiful cherry desk for stain or paintwash when my client decided she wanted it painted instead. 🖤

Not the direction I would’ve chosen, but I love how it turned out! What do you think?

Would you have painted it? 👀

Cracks don’t always mean you need wood filler! I used wood glue and sawdust (+clamps) to repair this top, then sanded it smooth once dry.

For the finish, I mixed Wh***ey Barrel paint with water at a 5:1 water-to-paint ratio for a beautiful walnut paintwash!

No matter how many pieces I refinish, I still hold my breath during this part! 😂 Anyone else?

Want a light, neutral wood finish without hiding the grain? 🤎 I used Dixie Belle Voodoo Gel Stain, diluted with equal parts distilled water, to create this soft, natural look!

Comment STAIN and I’ll send you the product I used! ❤️

Raising daughters who know they can do it themselves. ❤️💪

Still sanding off old finishes? Acetone and paper towels can make removal easier! It doesn’t work on every finish, so always test first and follow all recommended safety precautions.

Comment MELT and I’ll send you the products I use! ❤️

I contain multitudes. 😂💪

The wood wasn’t the problem. The fly p**p finish was!

I stripped away that old speckled finish and uncovered beautiful maple underneath. But after seeing all three options, I’m convinced the dark stain was the right choice! 🤎
