Since I was very young, I was taught to work with my hands – building, baking, sewing, creating... everything. And because of that, I've worked as an artist in various mediums all my life. It's brought me great joy and creative fulfillment. My favorite things to work with are fabric and clay. I've been sewing for as long as I can remember, and especially enjoy working with vintage fabrics and unique finds, crafting and creating one of a kind pieces. I enjoy making clothes, gifts, and little everyday things that can be useful in life. I started working with clay in 2015, and am still learning more and more everyday. I've been throwing clay at the wheel for about a year, and my skill improves with each mug, plate and vase. I'm inspired by the materials, and love to highlight them as much as possible, whether is vintage character sheets that remind me of my childhood bedroom, or the earthiness of the fired clay showing through a transparent glaze, I continue to let the materials lead me on this journey.
