Created in honor of a remarkable woman who lived to be 104 years old. Throughout her life, she became well known for her award-winning apple pies, sharing her talent, generosity, and love with her community. Her pies were legendary- one even sold for an incredible $3,800 at a fundraising auction.
Golden Delicious apples were woven throughout this design as a meaningful symbol of the memories she leaves behind. From selling and trading apples in her younger years to baking pies that brought people together, apples were a thread woven throughout her life story.
It was an honor to create a tribute as unique and memorable as the woman it celebrated. 💛🍏🥧
