📣 ANTIQUE BOOTH OWNERS: When was the last time you gave your booth a MAJOR revamp?

One of the biggest mistakes I see booth owners make is letting their space stay the same for months at a time. You may have beautiful merchandise, great prices, and a booth full of wonderful finds, but if your display never changes, you’re giving repeat shoppers very little reason to stop and look again.

My rule of thumb? Give your booth a major refresh at least every 6 weeks!

And no, that doesn’t mean you have to buy all new inventory. It means getting creative with what you already have!

✨ Move furniture around and create a completely different layout.
✨ Bring merchandise out of the back and give it a place of prominence.
✨ Rearrange your shelves and tabletops to create new vignettes.
✨ Rotate seasonal merchandise and introduce new colors, textures, and themes.
✨ Move items that haven’t sold to a new location. Sometimes, all a piece needs is a different spotlight!
✨ Remove stale inventory and replace it with fresh finds.

Here’s something important to remember: Your repeat customers are one of your biggest assets. These are people who already enjoy shopping your booth, but if they walk by week after week and see the same things in the same places, eventually, they’ll stop looking.

You want them to wonder, “What’s new in here?” every time they visit!

Think of your booth as a little retail store, not a storage unit. Every square foot should be working for you, and your displays should continually give shoppers a reason to slow down, explore, and discover something they didn’t notice on their last visit.

You don’t need more inventory to make your booth feel new. Sometimes, you just need a new perspective and a little elbow grease!

Remember: A booth that never changes teaches shoppers to walk on past it. ❤️

Good afternoon all. Kelly and I went to Texas today shopping. Met at the store.
Most of you know we have a well documented spirit of a lady name Dorothy.
This morning the light was on in Kelly’s booth. We looked at it for awhile and Kelly reminded me that her booth has the ceiling light that has to be activated by movement. I looked at her and said, “I’m going in”. I pulled the key from the console went to the door, struggling because it was so dark. Finally the door k**b unlocked and I pushed it open. Kelly was still in the car. As soon as the door opened the light went off. I continued in, though the hairs on my arms was standing on edge. Walked to the booth and found nothing. Went to all the rooms close by and nothing. Closed the store. Drove away.

We will be closed today!
We have no one available to open. Diane is down in Texas, doing the hwy 81 sales. And I stepped on a red ant nest yesterday and had an allergic reaction, so I am out for the day.
Sorry for any inconvenience!

This is so pretty. We have the white pumpkins and the foliage. But not the bats.

This is so pretty. We have the white pumpkins and the foliage. But not the bats.

This is exactly why I like starting Halloween with the fall decor already in place.

The autumn garland, pumpkins and warm candlelight create the base. Then a few darker details, black bats on the wall, deeper florals and moody accents, shift the whole mantel into Halloween without having to start again from scratch.

It is an easy way to get more mileage from your fall decorating and still make the room feel distinctly Halloween.
