Mood Board Monday ✨

A mood board is where a design starts finding its direction.

It helps us bring all those scattered ideas together — the colors, textures, materials, finishes and overall feeling we want the space to have.

Before we start choosing every little detail, the mood board gives us something to come back to and ask: Does this belong in the story we’re creating?

It sets the tone, keeps the design intentional, and gives us a clear vision of where we’re headed.

Because a beautiful space doesn’t start with shopping.
It starts with a vision. 🤍

While Monday may feel like getting back to work, for me, getting back to designing is actually my therapy.

Colors, textures, ideas, creating spaces… that’s where my mind feels the happiest.

It’s kind of chic to look back and realize that the life you’re living now was once the part you couldn’t quite picture. ✨

Getting married in my early twenties. Moving to a completely different country. Starting over in a place that didn’t feel like home yet. Going back to school. Finding my creative voice. Becoming a mother to two wonderful boys who became the most beautiful part of the journey. And eventually building a design business of my own.

None of it happened in a straight line—and maybe that’s what makes the story mine.

A little courage, a lot of figuring-it-out-as-I-go, and somehow… it all became a life I’m proud to call my own.

Turns out, starting over, growing along the way, and building a life you love can be pretty chic. 🤍

A well-designed space is never about just one beautiful element.

It’s the balance of light, scale, proportion, materials, functionality, and all those little details working together. Sometimes it’s the natural light, sometimes the way a cabinet adds depth, or simply how everything is placed in relation to each other.

Good design is when all these decisions come together—and the space just works.
