We’ve been LOVING these lately and can already picture them in so many different spaces:

• Tarragon — earthy, warm & cozy
• Grape Mist — soft, moody & unexpected
• Vanilla — warm, timeless & easy to live with
• Garden Gate — rich, natural & a little dramatic

All four are from Sherwin-Williams, and honestly… picking a favorite is HARD! 😂

If your house feels completely overwhelming right now…

Don’t organize the whole house.

Pick ONE drawer.

That’s it.

Take everything out.

Throw away the trash.

Put things back where they actually make sense.

Move anything that belongs somewhere else.

Done.

Tomorrow, pick another drawer.

Small progress is still progress! ✨

Have a weird empty corner that you have absolutely NO idea what to do with?

Try one of these:

• A tall plant
• A little chair
• A floor mirror
• A floor lamp
• A large basket
• A leaning piece of artwork
• A small bookshelf

And if those aren’t working, you can do nothing.

Not every empty space needs to be filled.

Sometimes leaving a little breathing room is exactly what the room needs too.

Try this today:

Set a timer for 5 minutes.

Don’t clean your whole house.

Just:

• Put away anything that’s out of place
• Straighten the couch
• Clear the kitchen counters
• Grab any obvious trash
• Turn on a lamp
• Unload the dishwasher
• Make your bed

That’s it.

Five minutes.

You don’t have to wait until you have an entire Saturday to make your home feel a little better.

Little resets count, too. 🤍

Organization doesn’t have to mean having 47 matching containers with perfectly printed labels 😂.

Real-life organization should make your life easier.

If your family uses something every day, it should be easy to reach.

If something constantly ends up in the same place, maybe that’s where it belongs.

If everyone struggles to put something away, the system might be the problem — not the people.

The goal isn’t a house that looks untouched.

The goal is a house that works. ✨

I don’t think every room needs to “match.”

I think your house should have a personality.

Maybe the living room is cozy and collected.

The kitchen is a little vintage.

The bathroom is moody.

The hallway has family photos, thrifted frames and something you picked up on vacation 5 years ago.

GOOD.

That’s what makes it feel like a home.

I’d much rather walk into a house and see someone’s personality everywhere than walk into a perfectly coordinated room that could belong to anyone.

Your home should tell your story!

And if you’re not sure how to pull all those random pieces together… that’s kind of our problem to solve. 😉

That old wooden dresser?
Keep it.

The mismatched dining chairs?
KEEP THEM.

The little brass lamp you found at a thrift store for $8?
Absolutely.

The picture frame that doesn’t match anything?

One of my favorite things about decorating is taking the pieces you already have and figuring out how to make them feel intentional.

Your home doesn’t need to be filled with brand-new things to be beautiful.

Sometimes the best pieces are the ones with a little history. 🤎
