Life is too short to knit socks you are not enjoying! These socks, after the third pattern repeat, were telling me they didn't like the crosses but loved the cables. After frogging them and finding a tonal yarn in my stash, I restarted the "morning walk" socks by and did some math to start some cable socks.

This might be my longest project yet.

Started these end of Jan 2023 with the intention of them being birthday or Christmas gifts. Not sure why they went into hibernation but picked them up again this year and promised they would get done by the end of school.

Finished the purple one yesterday and the pink one today, just in time since today was the last day of the school year.
