Over the course of the next year, I will be slowly phasing out my Etsy shop. My goal is to close by the end of next year 2027 - hopefully, sooner.
I have a wide selection of unique, one-of-a-kind wreaths for all seasons with great prices. I will be adding Christmas designs soon! π My prayer is that each piece finds a good home to those who love and appreciate my work. I will NOT be creating any new designs so whatever is remaining in my inventory is it. Once these items sell, they're gone for good. If you see a wreath or floral arrangement that you like, please consider either purchasing from my shop or buying directly from me (serious inquiries only).
Shipping has gone up significantly this year due to rising fuel costs and supply costs have skyrocketed due to never-ending inflation. I have eaten a considerably amount of both shipping and supply costs. That's OK. For me, it's not about the money (or the love of); it's been about the satisfaction of creating from imagination and sharing with others. It's been about the satisfaction of working with my hands and finding purpose in life. If you're an artsy introvert like myself, you understand ... you get it. Unfortunately, many online sellers don't.
I want my customers to be very happy and completely satisfied with my products. As a courtesy, I've NEVER charged for boxes (which average around $10/box) or shipping supplies (bubble wrap, packing paper, labels, etc.) I also don't charge for small supplies like glue, wire, picks, moss or chenille stems. I offer FREE shipping via UPS which has proved to be the fastest, most reliable and cost-effective delivery service. Unfortunately, most customers don't factor those attributes in when comparing shops online.
If you think wreath makers, including myself, charge too much for their designs, *think again*. The amount of time, energy, money and passion invested into creating a "quality"piece, is completely undervalued and miscalculated by most. Being constantly overlooked in a saturated niche compounded by a platform whose algorithms consistently favor shops that bring in the most sales (quantity marketing vs. quality marketing) is not the dream I hoped to achieve.
I will continue to create (it's in my blood), but the entire experience of selling online has been disappointing and spiritually devoid.
Follow your dreams wherever they may lead you, but never ignore your priorities. My priorities have changed with age so I have zero regrets closing this chapter in life.
Not leaving yet so check out my shop:
