The Arkansas Renaissance Festival is open six weekends between the last weekend in August and the first weekend in October in Mt. Vernon, Arkansas. Just 30 minutes from Cabot, Conway, and Searcy and an hour away from Little Rock.

Three years ago I convinced my wife that we should build a booth in a new renfaire near where we live. The Arkansas Renaissance Festival which starts its third season August 29th.

To say it's been a success is an understatement. Stephanie was honestly stunned at just how popular her flower crowns, crystal tiaras, and other nerdy jewelry pieces have been with our patrons.

I've always known how amazingly creative/crafty she is, but there is a special kind of validation that comes from hundreds of people being willing to spend their hard earned money on something she made.

So to everyone who has supported our little adventure by visiting our booth, thank you, and we hope to see you again this season!

When I first started CNC machining with my Onefinity CNC I tried all kinds of fancy clamps and exotic hold down methods.

After several hundred dollars of accessories I came to the conclusion that nothing beats just an open expanse of MDF that you can screw pieces to or apply tape/superglue to the bottom.

After two years, it's time for the first "refresh" of this spiilerboard because the quality and consistency of my latest projects have suffered.
