A survey by consumer reports says that 62% of homeowners are hit with extra fees once the install of your windows has begun.

The simple reason for this is greed and sales people who '' measure'' the windows without doing an inspection.This results in inaccurate and ill fitting windows .The installer is then left with the job of cutting corners or adding extra material to make the windows fit.

This is total incompetence .

Wonderful Wednesday :

Today we have a short story :

I was driving along a country road and saw a young man carrying a gas can, who had obviously run out of gas for his car. I stopped and took him about 5 miles to the nearest gas station. When he got there he realized he had left his wallet in his car, so I bought his gas for him. I then took him back to his car and waited until he put gas in his car and he started it back up. He offered me the cash for the gas but I asked him to pay it forward.He wrote down my number and assured me he would. About a week later I got a call from a lady who said she was needing new siding and windows on her house. I went and met the lady and we had a great visit. I submitted my quote, a few days later she called me back and said we had won the job and she wanted us to proceed. Ended up been a nice size job with a decent profit margin in it, we completed the job on time and the lady was extremely happy with our work.
As I was about to leave, a car pulled into the driveway and a young man got out...... you guessed it , the very young man I had helped when his car had run out of gas !!!! He had obviously told his Mom what had happened !!!!!

Small favors.................... big rewards.
