We are back!! We had such a great break, feeling rejuvenated and ready to head into a busy weekend on the Westside!

We kicked off the morning with a big flower delivery, a wedding consultation, farm harvesting and prepping for our Flower Club CSA members!! This week’s flower club bundles are a mix of borage, yarrow, black eyed Susan, snapdragons, bee balm, coneflower and milkweed, all picked this morning! Hop on the flower club for our summer bundles starting July, now available on our website! Our summer CSA will be 8 weeks long, and full of all the farm goodness we will have blooming, which in July + August is EVERYTHING! 💐

We are closed Monday- Wednesday next week for a much needed break for our staff, so all fresh flowers in the shop need to find their new homes today! Stop by and build a bouquet for yourself or a friend! Brighten up your rainy day with us, we can’t wait to see you!

Our next installation is up and it turned out SO GOOD! 58 handmade crepe paper flowers + 6 handmade crepe paper flower pendant lights bring our wildflower field alive… on the ceiling! She is a statement for sure! Standing underneath her feels like a magical whimsical hug from the flowers. This one took us a few weeks to build all the flowers and 3 days to fully install (if you’ve been in the shop this week, sorry about the ladder lol) It feels like such a fresh reset for the shop, just in time to usher in summer and the breezy, airy life of sundresses, gardening and time in the sun. Come enjoy it for yourself soon!

Flower farm update!! 🌸✨
Larkspur, yarrow, orlaya, marigolds, salvia, snapdragons, (and more) are starting to bloom! It is so exciting watching everything pop up around the farm, and we are even more excited for some rain this week during the drought Tennessee has been experiencing.
Our Spring CSA boxes start this week, and we cannot wait to share the beginning of the season’s blooms with you guys. We still have both full season boxes and spring boxes available!
Our Spring CSA includes a weekly bucket of farm-fresh florals harvested straight from our organic flower farm. There are two size options to choose from:
Small — 15 stems weekly
Large — 25 stems weekly
The Spring CSA runs for 6 weeks from May 21, 2026 through June 25, 2026. We are so excited for another season of flowers!

Memorial Day is next weekend, officially kicking off summer and lake season here in middle Tennessee! Over the past 3 months, our staff has been working their buns off, from Valentine’s Day to Mother’s Day, farm prep, events, and weddings, they have earned an extended weekend break! We will be closed Memorial Day Monday, May 25- Wednesday, May 27! We will not be offering deliveries during this time, so if you need flowers, we encourage you to go see some of our wonderful floral neighbors! We are open normally this week + Saturday, May 23, so come see us!

One thing about Glass Tangerine is we will always love wildflowers! The girls got creative with floating umbrella arrangements to decorate the pool for a lovely bridal shower — the perfect touch for spring. The umbrellas danced across the water, creating such a whimsical atmosphere for guests to enjoy. We loved bringing this dreamy little setup to life!

The last time I made a post like this was 4 years ago, before Glass Tangerine ever opened. Back then it was just me, a building and a dream!

Since then we have grown (quite a lot) to now include our flagship store, a flower bar that keeps us VERY busy, a full wedding business + a flower farm.

Our team is making it work, but it is time to add on! We are specifically needing someone who is interested in staying for the long haul, someone who is interested in plants, floral design and growing with our business! Seeking a creative person with a strong work ethic who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty (literally, we repot plants and farm)

To start, we need weekend help, so we are specifically hiring for Friday + Saturday staffing, plus opportunities for farming experience and bridal/ event training for the right candidate!
