Christmas 101 is now in session… decorating with toddlers & pets 🎄
You don’t have to sacrifice the look and feel of your Christmas decor just because you have kids or pets in the house. You just have to be a little more thoughtful about what you use and where you put it.
1. Shatterproof plastic will be your best friend – and now there are amazing options
2. Look for textured pieces in velvets
3. Don’t forget picks, because well picks are EVERTHIING
You can have a beautiful tree and have young kids, I know I personally have a 4 year old and a 1.5 year old. Comment

The secret to keeping one color Christmas tree from feeling flat?
When you’re decorating with one color, the trick is to mix different finishes, shapes, and materials to create depth.

Think matte ornaments next to shiny ones, velvet bows, glass ornaments, oversized florals, and picks that add movement.
Also not every tree has to be burgundy. You know I love a burgundy tree but this one seems to really sparkle

I really did…

Hi, if you’re new here, I’m Stephanie, and I quit my job to open a Christmas store.

And what started as something really small has turned into something so much bigger and more beautiful than I ever dreamed.

After 15 years working in fashion as a merchant, I asked myself a pretty simple question: Did I want to be my boss?

And the answer was no. 😂There was no promotion or amount of money that would have changed that answer.
Now I work a zillion hours more but there is something so special about this industry and the community we’re building.
