Some kindness truly stops you in your tracks. 💛
This past weekend, our neighbor, Aria, walked into the studio, handed me this beautiful letter — and a $100 donation — to help children in need enjoy a painting experience at Plaster Carousel.
He wrote that he's seen children come through our doors who are going through difficult circumstances, and it touched his heart. Aria asked for nothing in return — he just wanted to bring something positive into the lives of those who need it most.
In his words:
"When we have the opportunity to help someone, we should do so from the heart."
Aria's main language is Spanish and mine is English, so we often communicate through Google Translate. But this act of selflessness and compassion reminded me of something simple and true — kindness is a common language spoken by all. No translation needed.
Aria, thank you. We are already working on plans to ensure your gift gives kids who really need a bright moment the opportunity to express themselves creatively.
This is what community is all about — neighbors looking out for neighbors. And it's why we've loved being part of Coral Springs for over 40 years.
