Hello everyone! I am officially announcing my rebranding of La Cruz Sweets & Eats. This has been a long time coming and, honestly, a tough decision for me and my business. Most of you already know that I have been Vegan for over a year now, and it has really connected with me in a way I did not expect. I initially began this journey for my health, but as I've grown and learned, Veganism is way more than the food we eat. It is a lifestyle (my motto at this point, lol). I love baking, and it has been a passion of mine for a very long time. But now, a new passion of mine has been being Vegan. It may not seem like a big deal to some, but I really struggled with making non-vegan food/desserts for family and friends since it conflicted with my lifestyle. I was scared to bring it into my business because I didn't want to lose customers or have to relearn everything I knew about "normal" baking. Officially making this decision, I feel more at peace and can be confident again in what I am putting into this world. I want all aspects of my life to reflect who I am and have become as a person and this little business I have created is a part of me I've wanted to share for a long time. It only makes sense for it to evolve as I have. I hope my family, friends, and customers will understand and even join this journey with me. Just because it's vegan doesn't mean you are sacrificing your favorite things about dessert or food in general. I love you all and am proud of myself for finally doing this.
