This picture means the world to me. It captures what real generational wealth truly looks like—not just in money, but in wisdom, guidance, and legacy.
One thing I’ve learned on this journey is that having a mentor changes everything. Without one, the path is much harder and lonelier. But with the right guidance, you get direction, clarity, and a model to grow from.
Here are a few lessons that stick with me:
1. Always stay teachable. No matter how much you think you know, there’s always room to grow. I’ve learned to show up with an empty cup—ready to receive, not just repeat. That means letting go of the residue of what I thought I knew and making space for wisdom.
2. Real mentorship demands honesty. As a protégé, you’ve got to bring your full self to the table. No hiding, no sugarcoating. Growth only happens in truth. If you hold back, you’re only slowing yourself down.
We need each other.
A mentor’s purpose is to multiply himself—pass down the blueprint. And a protégé needs a pattern to follow, a living example of what’s possible.

Now, with the wisdom that’s been poured into me, I get to pour into my own sons and daughter. That’s how legacy works—it moves through us, not just to us.
So here’s what I know for sure: never stop pursuing your mentor. It may take sacrifice, time, humility—but it’s worth its weight in gold.
