It has been quite some time since we have posted. With all the things going on in our lives, and many others, it has been quite a rough few years. We know everyone has faced many of the same things we have faced. Our faith in God has kept us going. Our love for family, friends and country has kept us sane.
We are back doing our Arts and Crafts and hope to be able to do some local shows and markets. We are now in the process of doing a compete update on this page, please bear with us.. Tell your friends and family.

I was starting to do some woodburning and had an idea to go look see if Welburn Gourds had any more specials that I might like. Went on computer to www.welburngourds.com and ordered some bowls cut from canteen gourds. I can't wait to get them now. And finally broke down and got Carrie's DVD on woodburning. I am going to have fun soon. It cost a bit more but postal mail was 4 to 6 weeks so I went with UPS----3 to 4 days. When my mind is working on ideas ---I can't wait 4 to 6 weeks. I would totally forget I made an order. So one day next week I will have my stuff. Fun time. But I still have gourds to work on now. Just want more, more and still more!!!!!

The Welburn Gourd Farm

Sure glad we decided not to do the show this week end in Panama City Beach, with that storm hitting. My gourd art would have been blown all the way to the East Coast!!!! It is really bad down there. Talked with Justin and he said water was already standing in his yard and that was this AM. Just had a bad feeling about going down this week end........ Try it again soon maybe. So now I will get back to working on my gourds. I have so many ideas, I just really don't know where to start. But believe me I will get started back by Tuesday!!!! Stay close to God and be Blessed!!!!

Well today was not a total lose...I did make it to the shop and did a bunch of sanding.....gourds and boards!!!! Maybe if I can get 3 more good days I will be ready for my show Jan 23 and 24th in Panama City Beach!!!! Here is hoping!!!!!!
