SLC Bound to the Simple Stories-Get Creative Retreat!

09/26/2026

9/26
This is my layout for Sketches in Thyme using this week’s sketch #726 by Laura Rumble.

Pictures are of my baby boy, now grown man, still playing baseball. Also, shown are myself and his daughter, Emilia watching his game.

Oh my gosh, the papers and embellishments are so old! I stopped buying scrapbook paper a long time ago so all of my stuff is old. But, this stuff is down right vintage!

This month’s prize is a $10 gift certificate to A Cherry on Top and the chance to be a guest designer in November 2026.
Be sure to download your layout into the proper album. The deadline is September 30, 2026 at 12:00 Noon EST. Have fun and Scrap On!

I used a sketch by Marilyn Pavincich Gondek, at Sketches in Thyme.

Over at Sketches in Thyme, Sketch #718 is designed by our very own, Janessa Franco, this week.

I used a paper line from Simple Stories for this layout, which I think works perfectly with my photo.

Picture is of myself, my daughter, and her spouse, Charlie out walking in the woods which is their backyard. So beautiful!

Our prize this month is a $10 gift certificate to a Cherry on Top and the chance to be our Guest Designer for the month of September.

We hope you’ll play along with us using the sketch provided.

Please make sure you upload your layout into the correct sketch album to be counted.

The deadline for uploading your layout is July 31st at noon Eastern time.
