Hey y'all! Just to let everyone know, we are closing temporarily and revamping, adding inventory and using the building for storage until the courts hold corrupt city officials accountable for denying duty of care and ignoring the historic downtown maintenance ordinance and everything that it entails.

The adjacent building wall is causing damage. The deteriorating wall is allowing water to infiltrate deep into the wall below. This is a no brainer. The City of Corsicana buried the inspection report the previous city manager had done that was obtained through an open records request. They know.

Our historic downtown is protected with its own set of ordinances or is supposed to be. Even our own elected councilmembers are powerless and that needs to change.

Despite years long attempts to address the situation by us, Precinct 1 and Precinct 2, the City of Corsicana, led by corrupt city attorneys, one with deep personal animous for exposing unethical behavior and corruption and a new city manager playing the same game (who does not even live in Corsicana), the issue still remains unresolved and continues to cause damage.

We are confident with the mountains of emails, letters, requested documents, the clear missteps and corruption, several licensed engineer reports as well as the clearly written historic maintenance guidelines, that the courts will see through this game that these long time officials have been getting away with for years.

We look forward to being able to focus on being a better draw to our wonderful downtown.
