Hi, we're Phil and Adrienne! We are husband and wife creators that enjoy working with our hands. We hope our creations make their way into your humble homes.

We are Christ followers and Humble Homes is rooted in Psalm 90:17.

It’s been awhile since we’ve last posted - I can’t wait to show you the project that Phil has been working on for our kitchen. We have butcher block counter tops for one half of our kitchen and for our island, but I’ve wanted concrete countertops for our sink area for forever, SO he made my dreams come true! Can’t wait to share this with you all 🥰

I was watching this video about how our homes aren’t necessarily ours but Gods. I take care of my home not because I want to take aesthetically pleasing photos for Instagram - but because I want to be a good steward of what God has blessed me with. As I am here taking care of my earthly home, Jesus is in heaven preparing my forever home to be with Him 🤍🕊

Have a blessed day and so grateful for you all 🤍

Hi friends, it’s been a while since we’ve posted and I’ve finally found some down time. It can be hard to get projects done, take photos, & think of captions with the craziness of two under two.

Something that I’ve been thinking about lately is the style of our home. I’ve been asked what I think our style is, and I knew we always had a traditional farmhouse home but I never put thought into why.

To choose the style of our home I knew I had to love it first off. Now, farmhouse isn’t the only style I love. I love traditional, minimalist, boho, & cottage core. To choose our style though, I had to take into consideration what our home looked like first off. We have a very rustic backyard, it houses chickens, a rooster, grape vines, a river, a creek, many trees, and wild flowers. I wanted the inside of our home to reflect outside of these four walls.

Along with what our house originally looks like, I had to think of what makes me happy? A home cooked meal with mud boots by the door. A warm toned living room where our toddler plays. A wide open kitchen with wood accents and exposed ceilings. Farm fresh eggs on the counter ready for a Sunday breakfast. I didn’t only choose our style because it was popular on Pinterest, I chose it because this is what home feels like to us. Our home tells our story.

Happy Fourth of July weekend from Humble Homes! We have been super quiet on here lately due to adjusting to two babies under the age of two 😅

We have two pretty big projects to post on here soon. One being the farmhouse table that Phil built for our family to enjoy outside. The other being a humidor he built for a friend for his cigar collection! Stay tuned for those photos coming soon 🤩

Hi friends! We’ve been a bit quiet on here for a few of the following;

1) baby boy #2 will be arriving THIS month 🤯
2) Phil has been renovating our upstairs bedroom, bathroom and closet! 🥰

We promise, even when we’re quiet we are still here and willing to get your wood creations ready for you. Have a blessed Monday!

A small project for our boy’s playroom! Phil nailed the wood to the wall in the shape of a house, while I painted with chalkboard paint! It’s a huge hit!! 🍎

Please ignore our scuffed trimming, the life of dogs & toddlers 😅

Phil has been working on this bench for the past few weeks and I’m in love with it 😍 it is pressure treated wood and sealed to be weather resistant. This would look beautiful as an entry way bench or out on your deck!

I spent some time with today shooting small clips with .putman17 & .vxtell about wedding & marriage and it was such an awesome time of laughs, fellowship, and real talk. While there, I took a few shots of her new Humble Homes shelving and I just loved how she decorated them! It’s always so fun to see how customers and friends style/use the products we create ☺️

First order of blankets are ready to be picked up today! This customer asked for the blankets to be done in her wedding colors, how cute is that?!

It was such a joy to pray and worship over each stitch 💛

Swipe to see who enjoys MY blanket almost every morning 😅🐶
