A while back I made a bag that a friend/client had specific size requirements she needed to fit her wallet and other essentials she wanted to organize in the bag. So I went to work and made it. I liked it so much I made a few more for a local shop and they sold.
This year I'm planning to make several for the QuiltopiaOregon show. I've also decided to name it after the person who inspired me to make it, so meet The Rui Bag. It has two zipper pockets on the front a main zipper compartment on top with an interior zipper as well. Lots of areas to organize your items. It's not too big or small as Rui say's it's the perfect size bag. 9" tall x 10" wide x 1 3/4" deep.

Well I’m back to work! Spending time with my family for the month of August was awesome!! What a wonderful time we all had. I already miss them so much and looking forward to next year already!

I’ve been so busy with our home and getting ready for our family to arrive for the month of August. We are so excited to see our granddaughter. This year I didn’t get a chance to do much sewing for her. I had a few moments today so I made her own little placemat and napkin set for meals at the table. Hope she likes it. Not my best work as I was in a rush, but she is three and I don’t think she will notice. 😂

The movers came and put all our furniture back on our first floor! Our home’s not even close to being back together completely, but after 8 months wow did it ever feel amazing to sit down in my favorite chair again yesterday!
Starley was pretty pleased about being able to hangout in the family room as well.
