The Pickers Nest is transitioning into The Pickers Attic. A lot of work has gone into the shop. The vendors have been great to work with. (They have been patient with us while we transforming the shop into a multiple vendor shop.) Although we are not finished and the vendors still have more to put into the shop we will be open today from 10 until 5.
Watch for a new page when The Pickers Attic will has an official opening next month. There will also be a ribbon cutting. The date is TBD.

The Pickers Nest had too much inventory for a 1 day auction Aug 15th, 2026. Steve Morris Auctions did a great job Aug 15th at the fair grounds. (3 rings most of the day.) The Pickers Nest had a room full of inventory that didn't make it to the auction. WITH THAT BEING SAID ON Saturday & Sunday Aug 22-23, 2026. The Pickers Nest is having a closing Sale (2 rooms on the West Side in the original shop @ 60% off). Saturday 10 AM till 5 PM and Sunday 12 Noon till 5 PM. The Pickers Attic is having a soft opening August 22 & 23. Everything in room when you walk in the main door belongs to The Pickers Attic and is 25% off today and tomorrow and as stated above everything in the next 2 rooms is 60% off.
As many people already know, Robert Schwartz at the wishes of Bonnie is going to open up on September 1, 2026 as The Pickers Attic LLC. The Pickers Attic is going to have multiple Vendors. (WATCH FOR UP COMING ANOUNCEMENTS). Bonnie has taken a week or so off but will be coming down to The Pickers Attic as much as possible when it opens officially Sept. 1st.

I would like to give thanks to everyone who came out to the Harrison Co Fairgrounds yesterday for the Pickers Nest closing auction.
I want to thank Steve Morris Auctions and his whole crew for doing an excellent job. There were 3 rings going from 9 am until 2:30 pm. From 2:30 until a little after 4 there was 2 rows of tables full plus all the full crates underneath the tables. I have been to estate auctions that have had less than that to sell.
I want to thank the Historical Society of Harrison co. for serving the good food. Karen and Marcia worked really hard all day.
I want to thank Gabe Robertson for providing us with Donald and AJ from the House of New Beginnings as helpers.
I want also thank Rachel, Bob and I can't leave out Bonnie for all they did to get this ready.
It has been a great pleasure working with everyone. None of us knew what a huge event this was going to be. I had alot of people that couldn't believe that everything came out the Pickers Nest shop.
Once again thanks to all, what pleasure it has been to work with you all. Watch for more details to follow about remaining inventory.

Many of you have already seen the announcement from Steve Morris Auctions about our upcoming auction on Saturday, August 15th, at the Harrison County Fairgrounds.

As Bonnie prepares to close this chapter at The Picker’s Nest, this is certainly a bittersweet season. For nearly 40 years, she has shared her passion for antiques and vintage treasures with our community. Through several storefronts over the years, she has built a reputation for having an incredible eye for unique finds and a wealth of knowledge about antiques, vintage décor, and collectibles. Her love for what she does has been evident to everyone who has walked through her doors.

If you’ve been meaning to stop in, now is the time. Bonnie’s final day in the storefront will be Saturday, August 8th, making this your last opportunity to shop before the doors close. Whether you’re searching for the perfect antique, vintage décor, or a one-of-a-kind collectible, now is the best time to visit.

Then, on Saturday, August 15th, Steve Morris Auctions will conduct our auction at the Harrison County Fairgrounds. The auction will be held indoors in the air conditioning, with clean restrooms and food available throughout the day. It’s a great opportunity to find amazing treasures while celebrating a business that has been part of our community for decades.

While this chapter is coming to a close, the story isn’t over. A new page is about to be turned, and we can’t wait to share what’s next. Stay tuned!

Many people have seen Steve Morris Auction Service post about The Pickers Nest auction coming up August 15th, 2026 at the Harrison Co. Fairgrounds.
This a bitter sweet time for both Bonnie and myself. We have talked about doing this for a very long time when the time was right. Things don't always happen at the time we think it should.
The Pickers Nest has went through a transformation this past year. Watch for more new & exciting changes to to come.
