Meet Greg Ledesma, Project Manager for CDC Studio at Creative Design Consultants.

Greg joined CDC in 2011, bringing a strong background in multi-family renovations and nearly three decades of experience in the design industry. Over the past 15 years, his work has expanded to include large-scale multi-family developments, while his passion for renovations remains at the heart of what he does.

He believes in designing for longevity rather than simply following trends, and is known in the office for his thoughtful and creative approach to each and every project. We’re grateful for the experience, perspective, and passion Greg continues to bring to our team.

We’re thrilled to be named finalists for the 2026 SoCal MAME Awards, celebrating excellence in Southern California’s homebuilding industry.

This year, CDC’s work is recognized across multiple categories, including Best Interior Merchandising of a Detached Home $900,000 to $1.5 Million for Lavender at Rancho Mission Viejo by Tri Pointe Homes and of an Attached Home Priced Under $750,000 for Sky at Altair by Brookfield Residential.

We’re also proud to have contributed to two Community of the Year finalists, with our model home designs at Altair by Brookfield Residential and interiors at Rancho Mission Viejo.

These nominations are a reflection of the creativity, collaboration, and thoughtful design that go into every project. We’re honored to see our work recognized alongside the best in the industry.

The Club at Gavilan Ridge, developed by Rancho Mission Viejo, was inspired by Spanish architecture paired with the ease and warmth of California living.

Working in collaboration with WHA, we designed the 55+ clubhouse, fitness center, pool and terrace, and shared community spaces with connection and everyday living in mind. Each space balances elevated design with community and connection, creating places residents naturally want to spend time in.

Successful community design isn’t just about creating beautiful spaces. It's about understanding how people will live and connect within them. Seeing residents enjoy these spaces is one of the most rewarding parts of bringing a project to life.

Great design shouldn’t stop at the lobby or clubhouse. Some of the most frequently used spaces in a community are the ones residents encounter as part of their everyday routines.

From mailrooms and hallways to pet wash stations and coffee bars, each space is an opportunity to carry the larger design story throughout the property. Thoughtful lighting, color, and details transform these functional spaces into intentional moments that elevate the resident experience.

At CDC, we firmly believe that the everyday deserves thoughtful design.

Meet Rick Betts, Project Manager for CDC Home at Creative Design Consultants.

Rick’s journey with CDC began in 2000 as an intern in the Conceptual Department. After graduating, he returned full-time in 2002 and quickly worked his way from Design Assistant to Designer, eventually becoming a Project Manager in 2008.

More than two decades later, Rick continues to bring a thoughtful, people-first approach to his work. His goal is to create homes that feel aspirational yet attainable, giving buyers spaces that are polished and inspiring while still feeling like somewhere they could truly live.

Just as important is the impact Rick has made on his team. Over the years, he’s mentored countless designers, helping them grow their careers while drawing inspiration from the leaders who have shaped his own.

We have loved having Rick as part of the CDC family and value the hard work and creativity he brings to every project.

Lighting is more than illumination. It shapes how a space looks, feels, and functions.

Our lighting plans begin with natural light, considering how it moves through a space before layering in architectural, decorative, and integrated lighting. From sculptural fixtures that create a focal point to subtle illumination within millwork and shelving, each layer adds warmth, depth, and dimension.

The goal is never simply more light. It’s the right light, in the right place, working together to bring the entire space to life.

A glimpse inside Naya at Great Park Neighborhoods in Irvine, where modern California living takes on a warm and inviting point of view.

Each space was designed with everyday living in mind, balancing beauty and functionality while allowing subtle moments of color, pattern, and personality to shine. We used natural wood tones, layered neutrals and thoughtfully curated details to create a home that feels relaxed, refined, and distinctly California.
