The Eagle -Eagles have many symbolic meanings, including strength, courage, freedom, and immortality. They can also represent:
All-seeing eye
Eagles' sharp eyesight can make them a symbol of the all-seeing eye, and they can be linked to sky gods
Messenger of the gods
In ancient Greece, eagles were associated with Zeus, the king of the gods, and were often depicted carrying his thunderbolts
Wisdom and foresight
In Norse mythology, eagles were associated with Odin, who would sometimes take the form of an eagle to gain knowledge and insight
Power and dominance
The Roman Empire adopted the eagle as a symbol of power and dominance, and Roman legions carried eagle standards into battle
Union of nations
A two-headed eagle can symbolize the union of two nations, as well as creative power
Warfare
Eagles can represent warlike tendencies, and have war symbolism in many countries
Strength and loving-kindness
In the Old Testament, eagles' wings were used to represent the strength and loving-kindness of the Lord
