Flags to Remember

While I am spending Memorial Day making flags and watching Band of Brothers, there was a scene where one soldier asked “do you have Souvenirs?”

Then I remembered I have some from my grandfather on my father’s side..
I heard he even kept his service rifle but unfortunately someone asked to shoot it once and then apparently sold it 😡

Was asked to make this. It was difficult, how does one make something for an amazing artist themselves. If you don’t know he is a brilliant craftsman!

Finally done. I said once I wouldn’t use borders on a flag because I know too many people who do it and I don’t want to copy….. well in this case I had to.

I was asked to make a flag, it was a reproduction of a a canvas photo.. I said that it would be expensive and I have never made anything like this .. the canvas is so much cheaper.

Fast forward to inception, this took a time as I was have been in and out of sickness due to a head injury.

I think I figured it out out after 12 days. They removed the name tags.
