Mainstrasse Village to Host First-Ever Halloween Parade and Pub Crawl on Saturday October 24th

COVINGTON, Ky. – Get ready for a night of spooky fun as Mainstrasse Village hosts its first-ever Halloween Parade and Pub Crawl on Saturday, Oct. 24, beginning at 7 p.m.

The family-friendly parade will kick off at Larry’s, travel east to 9th Street, then head north along Main Street before dispersing at the intersection of 5th and Main streets.

Residents, visitors, businesses and community groups are encouraged to take part in the festivities.

Organizers are still accepting float entries for the inaugural event. Those interested in participating can contact Amy Kummler at [email protected] or Alexa Abner at [email protected] for registration information.

The parade is designed to be a fun and welcoming event for children and families, while the accompanying pub crawl offers adults a chance to continue the celebration throughout Mainstrasse Village.

Costumes, creativity and community spirit are all encouraged for what organizers expect to be a memorable evening.

“It’s sure to be a ‘Thriller’ of a night,” organizers said.

I highly encourage you to read through all of The Center for Great Neighborhoods of Covington accomplishments over the last 50 years. And I know this isn’t all of them they could list! We are one of soooooooo many Covington residents who’ve gotten the opportunity to build on ideas and create something in the neighborhood because of great effort and guidance from The Center. Covington is what it is because of every single person associated with The Center for Great Neighborhoods.
