I have a photo of the lower level at the Log Church, it's LVP ( Luxury Vinyl Plank ) looks like wood but is a vinyl glue down product. The flooring options for waterproof wood look are very popular, let me know if you ever think about going with this type of flooring.

Tile in Log Church Bathrooms came out nice.

When using carpet tile you still need to use broadloom (roll goods) on the stairs, the trick is to find a color that is close, even if the Brand Name is not the same. The rubber stair nose is also key.
