SPECIAL CLASS COMING!

Learning to Play with Polymer Clay!

Let your creative juices flow with polymer clay! Kind of a grown up version of silly putty and play-doh, the possibilities of things you can create with this type of clay are endless! Polymer clay can mimic many materials: yarn and embroidery, ivory and semi-precious stones, stained glass, wood, and so much more, but whatever you choose to do with it, you’ll never get bored.

Jody will teach you the basics: conditioning, mixing, baking, and storing raw clay. You’ll talk about some of the amazing things you can do with clay, and check out some of her samples. You’ll get plenty of time for hands-on creating! Get the feel of the clay, then make some beautiful and unique veneers to make napkin rings, bookmarks, fridge magnets, and possibly even cover a pen!

You’ll do some “talking trash” and learn about a few helpful tools, including the clay artist’s go-to workhorse, the pasta machine.

The 2-day class will be held at:
WHERE: The Rainbow’s End craft shop at Peavine Plaza on Peavine Road

WHEN: December 20 and 21, from 1 to 4 p.m. Total 6 hours of instruction!

HOW TO REGISTER: The cost of $60 needs to be paid in advance (no later than December 10) at the craft shop. Call 931-484-9600 for information. Class size is limited, so register soon. Cost of supplies ($15) is additional and is to be paid at the class directly yo the teacher.

It just so happens that the holidays follow just after class…. Hmmmmm… Know anyone that might need a gift?
