The Lemon Lime Dracaena is an easy to grow indoor houseplant known for its vivid striped green and yellow leaves. It loves indirect light and prefers distilled water. Floride and Cloride in tap water can make the leaf tips turn brown. The name Dracaena translates from Greek to female Dragon. This name was inspired by the red, blood like sap found in some species.

These easy to grow succulents thrive indoors with bright indirect light and infrequent watering. The name Kalanchoe translate from Cantonese as "that which falls and grows". They are very easy to propogate and grow directly in dirt. They use CAM photosynthesis keeping their pores closed during the heat of the day and opening at night to capture carbon dioxide. While the little house plants only get about a foot tall, the variety known as Velvet Elephant Ear can grow into a 20 foot tree.

Crassula Ovata is a popular succulent known for its thick woody stem and glossy oval-shaped leaves. Jades need lots of bright indirect sunlight or they will get leggy. Never let the pot side in standing water. With proper care, your jade can live 70 to 100 years. Many Jade plants become living heirlooms and are passed from one generation to the next. They are often seen as a good luck symbol.
