Our scheduled Picket Fence Porch Décor Workshop has been postponed to a later date, but that didn’t stop us from having a wonderful evening at Following My Dream Shop!

Tonight, two wonderful customers joined me to create patriotic door hangers, and they turned out absolutely beautiful. ❤️🤍💙 I always enjoy the opportunity to spend time creating, sharing ideas, and getting to know the amazing people who support my small business.

We’re excited to introduce our newest handcrafted creation from Following My Dream Shop’s Custom Creations & Woodworking Shop!

Our beautiful Floating Crosses feature a unique design that allows the cross to appear suspended within the frame while gently rotating, creating a stunning floating effect that captures attention from every angle.

Each cross measures approximately 10” x 12” and is handcrafted using Poplar and Mahogany.
Whether displayed in your home, office, or given as a meaningful gift, each cross serves as a beautiful reminder of God’s love and presence.

✨ Wow… what a night. ✨

My heart is so full as I reflect on our first Created to Create gathering. After months of prayer and planning, it was incredible to see so many ladies come together to grow in faith, encourage one another, and embrace the gifts God has given them.

Tonight, we created personalized journals that will become a special place to record what God is teaching us throughout this journey together.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make tonight so special. I left feeling blessed, encouraged, and excited to see what God has in store for this group.

We are thrilled to announce that Following My Dream Shop is once again a Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral Paint retailer! 💙

While I stepped away from retailing Dixie Belle when we moved from Carlisle, I never stopped using these amazing products in my furniture makeovers and creative projects. Now that we’re settled into our new space, I’m excited to bring them back to the shop!

🎨✨ From Old to Extraordinary ✨🎨

It was truly my honor to create this custom painted rocking chair for a very special college graduate as she begins her journey as a teacher. 🍎📚

This piece was extra special to me because it allowed me to get back to one of my very first creative loves—transforming furniture and giving it new life. There is something so rewarding about taking an ordinary piece and turning it into something meaningful that will be treasured for years to come.

And can we talk about those colors?! 😍 This project was so much fun to create using my favorite products from Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral Paint. The beautiful, vibrant colors made this teacher-inspired design come to life perfectly! 🎨🌈

The best part? Knowing this chair will be part of a classroom where young minds will learn, grow, and be encouraged for years to come. What a blessing to play a small part in celebrating a teacher who is dedicating her life to serving others. ❤️

✨ Another Fun Workshop in the Books! ✨

Last night’s Interchangeable Shiplap Workshop was such a great way to wrap up a busy season of creating! 🎨❤️ I loved spending the evening with these amazing ladies as they painted, laughed, and created beautiful projects that they can enjoy all year long.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support my dream and chooses to spend your time creating with me. It truly means more than you know. 💕

Now it’s time for me to take a short break, recharge my batteries, spend some time with family, and seek fresh inspiration. 😊

📅 Workshops will resume on June 9th with our Created to Create Bible Study & Creative Time — a special evening of faith, fellowship, creativity, and encouragement. I am so excited to begin this journey together!

✨ And don’t worry… we have several more fun workshops planned throughout June, including some returning favorites and a few new creative opportunities!
