This cardigan is named in honor of my Aunt who is a very Special Lady. We are very close and has played a large part in my life as I was growing up. I hope everyone is blessed with a Special Aunt like I have been.

This fair isle design on the Back of this cardi is called Celtic Festival. Almost finished. Wait until you see the completed cardigan with buttons and pizzazz. What do you think?

Well I just finished this v-neck seamless raglan sleeved zippered cardigan. It has a modern contemporary look. I named it after my mother as she has been there for me through all my ups and downs. Thank you mom. Mothers are very special women. I used a two-way zipper to be more comfortable when I sit ... as this cardi is long. It's made with DK weight yarn. Try using varigated yarn as a contrasting color for your little pizzazz. Be sure to check out my Etsy Store to see some of my designs. Will be adding more shortly. I am just about finished knitting my new black and white cardigan which I have named Ellen Sarah. (after my Mom) She has always been there through all my ups and downs. Thank you Mom. It has a V-neck, long sleeves and a zipper. The cardi is black and the design is in white. It is a top down cardi therefore no seams to sew. As a knit wear designer we think of ideas, implement them to paper ... then try and knit these ideas. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. I had this idea of knitting an Inuit Eagle design on the back of a cardigan. The chart was easy to draw but the actual knitted design was not to my liking. It knitted up ok but the Pizzazz feeling was not in it for me. So I'll rip it out and start again with another idea that hopefully has the Pizzazz I'm looking for. I'm working on my Cardigan with a black and red Inuit Eagle Image on the back. It's coming along beautifully. The pattern will be for sale as soon as I'm finished knitting it. Hopefully it won't be too much longer from now. Are you anxious to see it? Maybe I'll post a pic of the WIP in my next post.

I am very excited to say I've designed a knitting pattern of a cardigan with a knitted image of an Inuit Eagle on the back. Of course most Inuit designs are done in black and red, which i have implemented in my design. I have a series of ideas to design using this method.
