I was inspired by my Father Robert Clayton Stearns. He was a architect in Eugene, Oregon. He had is own firm, it was called Stearns, Mention and Morris. My Dad and Mom built a home together designed by father. It was a A frame home. Quite progressive for the time he designed much like Frank Lloyd Wright. So growing up, I was inspired living in this amazing home. I watch how my father loved art, de
corating our home. I wanted to share what I learned as a child with others. I worked at a furniture store started in 1983. I sold furniture, bedding, accessories for your home. I was able to go to Market and assist in buying of everything that I sold. I continue on going to College and getting my Business Management degree. Then I took a job as A furniture manager for a very high end Patio Furniture, Hot Spring Spas. Also sold above ground swimming pools. I went to Chicago every year to market to purchase a lot of different brands of Patio Furniture, Umbrellas, cushions. and accessories for the showroom. After 5 years of doing this. I moved with my husband to Atlanta. Continued sell Hot Spring spas for 2 years. Then we moved to Alpharetta, Georgia. Where we had our home built. I went to work for a business as A store Manager. I assisted customers with decorating their outside space. I did that for many years. Had a lot of employees. After 5 years I resigned from that job. I took a job selling high end custom built leather furniture. I had a showroom in Alpharetta Georgia. I worked their for almost 10 years. I merchandised several showroom, bought accessories for several stores. Also selling furniture to many, many clients. I also did Interior design with my customers. Then I was asked to be in The Points North Signature showhome in Achasta in Dahlonega, Georgia. I Decorated several areas in that home. So finally decided one day my husband and me would visit Dahlonega. We fell in love with the people and the wonderful town. So we decided to move. I worked on the square on and off for the last 6 years. I missed help clients create and enjoy wonderful living spaces. So I made the decision to go back and start doing what I always loved. I have been designer for 32 years. I love the opportunity to assist you in your homes. leather furniture. I had a showroom in Alpharetta, Georgia. I was able to decorate a lot of families homes. I helped in a home in Achasta for Points North Magazine. I was able to decorate several rooms in that home. That's what led us to move. So we landed in Dahlonega, Georgia. What a wonderful place to be. And decided I missed decorating for people. So decided to go in to business for myself and my husband. I will look forward to meeting new clients in this new phase of my life. I have 32 years experience, I want to focus on Staging homes to sell. Repurpose your home with what you already have.
